Hitched or: I'm Not Going Back Jim!

Friends Anthony and Karen got married a few weeks ago, and as you might guess, I was there to document it all for posterity. Many many shots, so these are just some highlights. I probably don't need to tell you where to do to see the rest by now, right?

As for the subject, well, it makes sense to me, and it's pretty hilarious.

Up in Flames

I hope to have more pictures of Juggling Jeff (and others) up before I leave on vacation this week, but just in case that doesn't happen, I wanted to get this picture up.

I just love the heat waves in the vicinity of the torches.

Non-Cleverly Titled Update

My friend Andrew (right) joined up with a rockabilly group called the Bible Belt Sinners. I got to see them play over the weekend, and they put on a fine show. More shots up over at ye olde flickr page.

I did some shots of my coworker's son, Austin, awhile ago. Maybe a month? I forget. Lots of goofiness went on, as maybe the second shot(s) illustrates. As for the first one, I don't know. He said that we "should do the heart thing," or words to that effect, so it makes me think it might be something the kids today are all doing. I'm out of touch with the kids these days, so who knows. I like the way it looks here, though.

Trash the Dress

So I'd never heard of this little off-shoot of wedding photography until my friend Sarah mentioned she'd liked me to help her out with it. So I looked into it, and was very excited about the shoot. From what I saw, some brides will really go to town, and get their dresses really messed up. So I guess there's no chance they'll be reusing them at any point. Sarah didn't get too crazy, but it was still lots of fun. People at the CityGarden were good about staying out of our way, and much to my surprise, only a couple people asked if she was already married (this was after we were in the fountains). It was pretty darn hot that day, so her dress dried off really quick.

An interesting note--I shot about as much in a few hours here as I might have for a full wedding. Weird.

Some more shots over on flickr, so be sure to hop over there as well.
